Overview of Moodle

Moodle is a virtual learning environment (VLE), an online system to provide tools and resources for teaching and learning. A VLE may be used as a tool to deliver courses purely at a distance (online) or to complement classroom or face to face learning. A combination of online and face to face learning is usually referred to as 'blended learning'.

Moodle is open source (free) software that enables you to upload content and create activities such as forums, quizzes, assessments and much more. This course will teach you the core elements of creating a course in Moodle.
